Southern Haulers LLC · Effective May 19, 2026
Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the Southern Haulers website and digital portals. Actual freight services are governed by a separate Bill of Lading or rate confirmation.
§1
Acceptance & scope
By using southernhaulers.net — including requesting a quote, submitting a driver application, or accessing tracking information — you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
Southern Haulers means Southern Haulers LLC, USDOT 3418762, MC 1105194, a Georgia limited liability company. References to "we," "us," and "our" refer to Southern Haulers.
§2
Services we offer
Southern Haulers is a Georgia-based motor carrier specializing in drayage, port pickup and delivery, transloading, warehousing, regional dry van, flatbed, and bulk hopper. Service lines and coverage areas are described on this site for informational purposes.
The binding agreement for any actual freight movement is the Bill of Lading or rate confirmation separately executed for that shipment. These website terms govern your use of the site, not the freight movement itself.
§3
Quote requests are non-binding estimates
Quotes generated through the website are estimates only. They reflect typical rates based on the information you provide at the time of request. They do not constitute a binding offer of carriage.
Final pricing is confirmed via a written rate confirmation that may include accessorial charges (fuel surcharge, chassis split, detention, demurrage, terminal handling, overweight) and reflects actual conditions at the time of dispatch.
§4
Driver applications
Applicants represent that all information submitted is truthful and complete to the best of their knowledge. Material misrepresentation is grounds for disqualification or termination of employment.
By submitting an application, you authorize Southern Haulers to investigate your employment history, driving record, accident history, and drug/alcohol testing history as required by 49 CFR §391.23 and to query the FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse per §382.701. The data we collect and how we use it is described in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms by reference.
Southern Haulers is an equal-opportunity employer. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic.
§5
Our regulatory standing
Southern Haulers represents that it holds current operating authority under USDOT 3418762 and MC 1105194 and operates in compliance with 49 CFR Parts 390–399, including but not limited to:
- Driver qualification requirements (Part 391);
- Hours-of-service rules (Part 395);
- Drug and alcohol testing requirements (Part 382);
- Vehicle inspection, repair, and maintenance (Part 396);
- Federally mandated insurance levels (Part 387).
§6
Liability — website vs freight
Website: the site is provided "as is." We make no warranty that quote estimates will match final pricing, that applicant portal submissions will be acknowledged immediately, or that tracking information will be real-time accurate. To the extent permitted by Georgia law, we disclaim indirect, incidental, and consequential damages arising from your use of the site.
Freight: liability for lost, damaged, or delayed freight is governed exclusively by the Carmack Amendment (49 U.S.C. §14706) and the Bill of Lading executed for that shipment. These website terms do not modify those obligations.
§7
Prohibited uses of the site
You may not:
- Scrape, harvest, or automate access to the site;
- Submit false or misleading information on any form;
- Use the quote portal to compile competitive intelligence in bulk;
- Attempt to interfere with site availability or security;
- Impersonate another applicant, customer, or carrier;
- Use the site for any unlawful purpose.
§8
Intellectual property
Site content, logos, photography, rate methodology, route maps, and the "Southern Haulers" wordmark are the property of Southern Haulers LLC or its licensors. You may view and share linked content for non-commercial purposes; you may not republish, reproduce, or commercialize site content without written permission.
§9
Privacy Policy incorporation
Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information. It is incorporated by reference into these terms and forms a single legal instrument. Where the two documents speak to the same subject (e.g. driver applicant data handling), the more protective of your privacy controls.
§10
Governing law & dispute resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, excluding its conflict-of-law principles.
Disputes arising from your use of the site are first subject to good-faith negotiation between the parties for 30 days. If unresolved, they will be submitted to binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Rules, seated in Toombs County, Georgia.
Freight disputes (Carmack claims, payment disputes, accessorial disputes) are governed by the Bill of Lading and the federal court in the Southern District of Georgia, not by this clause.
You waive the right to participate in any class action arising from your use of the site.
§11
Changes & contact
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via a banner on the site and to active driver applicants by email at least 30 days before taking effect.
